2016 RiutBag D-pocket for quick yet secure access to your smartphone, keys and passport without removing your RiutBag from your back
D-pocket: Your smartphone will no longer live in your pocket or in your hand with the new RiutBag. A D-shaped pocket at the base of the back of the RiutBag can hold your smartphone, train tickets, keys and passports. Without removing your RiutBag you can stow these important items and access them without removing your backpack and without looking. You can do this whilst you’re on a bike, in the queue, on an escalator without even looking. This is going to be a new way of travelling securely with mobile devices through busy urban spaces.
Larger top pocket: Plan your journey. Use the top and D-pocket in tandem to make sure you have the right belongings accessible when you need them. On your way to work, make sure your phone, access pass and train ticket are in the D-pocket, whilst your wallet and sunglasses are in the top pocket. On your way home, make sure you place your keys in the D-pocket so you can grab them whilst walking up to your front door. Taking a flight? Put your passport in your D-pocket on your way to the airport. Without taking off your RiutBag, slip your passport out of the D-pocket, go through security and on to your flight

Trolley suitcase strap on the new 2016 RiutBag R10
Trolley suitcase strap: Now international travellers have the features they need. Not only can you store your passport and boarding in the easy to locate and zip-up D-pocket, you have a designated strap to secure your RiutBag to your suitcase when you’re waiting at the airport. Keep fresh letting your suitcase take the weight whilst still keeping all the RiutBag’s access points secure because the trolley handle covers them.
Removable chest straps: all RiutBags have chest straps to allow you to fit the RiutBag to your body shape and distribute the weight you are carrying closer to your centre of gravity. Some people don’t need their chest straps all the time. So, all RiutBag chest straps are now removable and can be easily reattached.
RiutBands: every RiutBag R15 and R10 comes with 4 brightly coloured attachable and detachable RiutBands. They are red, blue, green and pink on one side, and all reflective on the reverse side. After prototyping the RiutBands to help RiutBag users personalise and identify their RiutBags more easily at home and on the go, they have been developed to help cyclists and pedestrians be seen at night.
